# Your calendar in Fordays
> Bring your calendar in and your events sit beside your plans. Only you see them.

Connecting a calendar is optional. If you do, Fordays uses it for three things, and only for you:

- to show your events in your Home Orb
- to remind you of them
- to tell you, privately, what you already have on a day when you make a plan

## On iPhone

The iPhone app reads the calendars already on your phone: Apple Calendar, and any Google or Outlook account you’ve added to the phone.

1. Open **You** (your face, in the bar at the bottom), then **Calendars**.
2. Tap **Connect Apple Calendar** and allow access.
3. Tick the calendars to bring in. Your main one is ticked to start.

## In a browser

Bringing in your calendar in a browser is coming soon.

## What comes in

For the calendars you tick: each event’s title, location, start and end, from a month ago to six months ahead. Declined and cancelled events are left out. In Plans, an event says where it came from, such as *Apple Calendar*.

## Fordays never changes your calendar

Fordays only reads. It can’t add, change or delete anything in your calendar. To change or cancel an event, do it in your calendar.

## Turn a calendar off

Open **You**, then **Calendars**, and switch it off. Every event that came from it is removed from Fordays.
